for sure. I did a little and had friends who did more, and watched them as they got spat out of game after game and shop after shop as funds dried up mid-project. I was involved in making graphics for one game and experienced the frustration and disappointment firsthand of having the plug pulled, and I think the game was over halfway to completion, even. I wasn't even that involved and I still felt the desperation - "What?? They paid enough to get it THIS far, and they're stopping? Can't we find other funding? No?? All this work just gets shelved??" So much waste. But that was back in the mid-'90s, when Doom was all the rage, before Quake or Halo. Hopefully things are different now. Good luck, Anessa!

I was previously a aviation mechanic and avionic technician and this car is harder to work on than Aircraft. - Hocuz77 03:04:56 02/28/06 |
